Unlike our other products the nature of Effluent Pump Control necessitated the development of 3 distinctly different models of EPC

The EPC:

Our simplest and cheapest Effluent Pump Controller. The EPC is simply a variable speed drive. Depending on how you would like to operate it the EPC can either have its speed altered by operating the up or down arrows on its front panel or can be configured to switch between up to three different pre-set speeds via an external switch.

Both the EPCP and the EPCFP provide these protections and features:

  • Run dry protection
  • Blocked pipe protection
  • Major leak detection
  • Maximum run time protection

The EPCP:

The extra 'P' on the end stands for Pressure. This controller varies the speed of the pump to keep the pressure at a pre-set level. All EPCP's come complete with an Effluent proof transducer to measure the pressure and they can be switched between 3 different setpoints using an external switch.

The EPCFP:

The 'FP' stands for flow and pressure. The EPCFP uses the same controller as the EPCP but adds a non-contact electromagnetic flow sensor to enable flow control. Just enter the flow rate in Mega Cubes per hour and the EPCFP will maintain that flow whether the spreader is in the paddock next door or on top of a hill a kilometer away. If you are using a constant displacement pump then the EPCFP can be fitted with a pressure transducer which will stop the pump exceeding its maximum allowable pressure.
